February 10th -- 2 dead, 1 stabbed & 1 shot...
Talib Stewart, a 25-year-old black male, described by police as a transvestite prostitute, yesterday was stabbed to death allegedly by a surprised customer in the Bronx, according to a story in the Daily News. Stewart, who wore women's clothing and high heels despite being 6-feet-tall, was also known as Nesha or Sanesha, according to neighbors interviewed by The News. The murder took place inside a second floor apartment in the Belmont section of the Bronx.
One neighbor described "Nesha" as "funny and outgoing" while another told The News: "She looked like a girl but when she turned around, you knew it was a man. She had a big jaw and an Adam's apple." They described Stewart as a fixture on the block.
Newsradio 1010 WINS identified the 37-year-old murder suspect as Steve McMillian of Yonkers.
